Music generator

Hello all. I'm trying to find an app to create music with. There was an old game on PS one I believe that let you create a bunch of different music. It was called Mtv music generator.

I purchased aura. It seems to be the closest thing to an actual " generator " but it keeps freezing up on me.

Can anyone help me out?

Is there a better one out there?

Not cheap, but pretty full-featured. I've never used it, though.
