I searched but couldn't find anything on this... I recently installed the "Glass w/ Weather" theme and now every time I look at my lock screen it has some random city's weather on it.

Is there a way to change something so that I can customize it to have my city's weather?

You have to SSH in to your phone and remove the theme. Change the weather location in a text editor program. Then SSH the theme back into your phone. When I get home I will try and give you more detailed instructions. How about you load up your city and state like this Austin,TX.

Get a free SSH program like iPhoneBrowser for PC or Diskaid for Mac. Go into library and then themes, find the weather app theme and the configure.js file (I think that's what it's called) and copy/save it to your desktop. Open it with a text editor and find the line of text that says either "Boston, Massachusetts" (or whatever city it displays) or a Zip code, now just change that to your zip code (or City, State), save the file, and copy it back into and override the file you saved in the SSH program. Respring and it will show your city's weather.

Hm.. I tried this, but when I right clicked the file to select "open with", there were no text editors in the list, so I hit "browse" to try and find notepad on my computer, and couldn't seem to find it. Any suggestions?

Are you using Windows XP? If so, the first option when you right click is "open" and it opens it with the "Notepad" program. Can you just double click the file? If that doesn't work, go to Start -> all programs -> accessories -> notepad-> and then open the file that you saved to your desktop. If it's not there, Google and download Notepad.

I"m using Vista, and when I right click and hit "open" there is only some weird Microsoft DOS type program it wants to open it in. The file is .js so I am assuming that is javascript, right? And so when I open notepad then go to File --> open and select it, it says it can not open this file type. So I am at a loss...

Strange, I just tried it and it worked for me. I'm using XP. I saved the YahooWeather.js file to my desktop, right clicked on it and choose edit, and it opened it with notepad. I then tried closing it, right clicking, open with, notepad, and it opened the js file in notepad.

Maybe you could try uninstalling notepad and reinstalling it?
Also, try installing Katra's weather theme or WbWeather from Cydia and see if you can get them to work for a weather lockscreen. They are the only two I've tried. Maybe the one that's in with the glass theme doesn't work.
