I have a iphone 3g 16gig, was with att, hated att. Went back to my old phone blackberry curve and old service. Here's the deal. I love my iphone, can I take the sim card out of my curve and use it in my iphone and if so how do I do it. and will it still work as a phone, will I still have internet, etc. I have been serching the web for 3 days trying to unlock my phone. It seems that everyone uses the same software just different methods.
Can anyone help or should I just give it up.

The phone would have to be unlocked in order to use with a different provider. If you are on Firmware 2.2.0, then youy can jailbreak and install Yellow Snow and unlock it for another carrier. Otherwise....it's not possible.

What carrier are you using for the Blackberry? If it's Sprint or Verizon, then No, it will not work. This is because they are CDMA carriers. The iPhone only has a GSM chip. You can unlock a 3G iPhone and use it with other GSM carriers (T-Mobile).
