Cant sync my phone!

hey everyone, i did a search and couldnt find anything.

I usually dont miss with itunes cuz i think it sucks but i recently bought a movie i want to put on my phone and some songs and whatever else. well when i plug in my phone and try to synce all my stuff i get this message

"The iphone "name" cannot be synced. the required disk can not be found"

any ideas on what i should do??????

update

i just restarted my phone and this message popped up

"itunes cannot connect to the iphone because and error occurred while reading from device"

Just format your Iphone and sync from fresh device

Reboot the phone (hold power and home buttons at same time ignoring slide to power off). If the problem persists, you'll have to restore the phone in iTunes.
