iPhone's RAM?

How much RAM does the iPhone 3G have? I noticed that right when I get on to my iPhone after I restart it, there's 25MB available (according to SBsettings).

So at least 70% of it is used at all times... You'd think they could hve doubled that.

True - 256 would be sweet. This is pretty much how nearly all smartphones are - OS and system processes chew up a lot of memory right from the off ...
