upgraded parents phones but

so my whole family upgraded to the iPhone 3G, when i went to go sync my mom's V1 iPhone with iTunes i thought everything went ok, so i go plug in the new iPhone 3G and sync it and her name doesn't even show up, it shows the name and phone # associated with the phone but there are no contacts.

what am i doing wrong?

make sure you sign in her account and you can rename the name of the iphone i think you can just right click
