USB k/b on iMac stops working after update

I noticed on Apple's support forum that tons of people have the problem after updating the OS to 10.5.6, the USB ports on the keyboard no longer work. No matter what I plug into them, I get a Low Power notice. I called Apple and for some reason they are sending me a new k/b. I don't see how a software upgrade could damage a k/b, and there are a lot of people with the same problem. Surely Apple isn't gonna replace everyone's keyboard! Anyone else with a Mac and the slim aluminum k/b have this problem with the OS update?

haven't had that problem, but i bet it's related to the DFU not working in itunes issue.

at least you get an extra keyboard.

Well, I have to send them my old k/b. I don't think a new keyboard will solve the issue, but we'll see.

Got my new keyboard the very next day, and just as I thought, the USB still won't work. That damn OS update!! :angry:
