Iphone 3g totally trashed any way to recover contacts from computer

Long story, buy my 6 month old 3G got completely destroyed (pieces everywhere) I cannot afford a new one yet, but really need the contacts (Windows Vista) Any idea if/how I can recover the contacts?

yeah, they are probably stored in your windows address book (or outlook if you use that).

do you need to import them somewhere?

I have heard of outlook, but not windows address book. Where would I find address book in vista?

try opening your start menu and typing "address book" into the search bar.
