Doesn't bacon kinda deep fry itself? How is it different when its dropped in a fryer. I have access to one thats why I'm asking :laugh2:

I believe uniformity is what you're going for in a deep fat frier. And you get it.
If you want really well-cooked bacon, laying them between two cooling racks in the oven is the best way.... nice and straight and perfectly crisp.
Why has everything become a bacon thread for me? I need some help.
