Transfering IPOD music

I am having a problem transfering the songs from my itunes(a lot of non dowloaded songs) onto my new Iphone. Any suggestions?

What kind of 'problem transfering' are you having?

I'm definitely no itunes expert...but is your iphone set up in itunes to 'sync' music? - or do you drag songs onto your iphone? Are the songs in itunes still in the same folder you used to import?
