1. My husband and I both have the Ipod touch. We don't always listen to the same music and was wondering how we can remove the songs from one Ipod and it still remain able for the other????

2. Is there anyway to get the internet permanently on the Ipod touch without using a Wi-Fi connection????

I don't have an iPod Touch but for question 1 I would just make separate playlists for you and for DH in iTunes and then sync whatever playlists you want. Maybe someone else knows a better way.

I have no idea about the 2nd question. Sorry.

for one id say the same as the person above me, or have it only sync the checked songs and go through everytime... lol mayb use seperate itunes librarys. rename the folder you have currently in music on your pc as like ituneshusband and make another ituneswife and copy the songs u want.. just rename it itunes when you sync then name back to ituneswife and let ur husband sync. that might work i can explain better if you think it will work.

for 2 the itouch dosnt have the communications hardware that the iphone does. non-techy terms the answer is no you can only use wifi to get internet on your itouch

Since iTunes defaults its library to "current user"\My Documents\My Music why couldn't the husband just set up a windows user account for himself? When he logs in, he should have a blank library that he can add his music to then sync it to his iPod.

By the sounds of it they share the same user account, documents and everything else, it's too much effort and logon times would be too long for the sake of synching an iPod..

Playlists is a better option..

play lists will work if they want to listen to there music while still sync'in the others music if they just want there own music on there... playlists will not do that

Yes it will Music tab check Sync Music - Selected Playlists and select/deselect and hit Apply as required
