Congrads!! welcome to the life of Marital bliss!!
Just be aware that your significant other is not going to be willing to share you with your new wife. Yes, I am talking about your iPhone.
My Wife constantly refers to my iPhone as the other woman.

Sorry for the very late reply, I've just been so busy
The big day is Jan. 9th, 2010
And i did it at the Columbia restaurant that's on the 4th floor of the St. Pete pier (for you Tampa/St. Pete peeps )
I put the ring in the middle her dessert (flan), and stood behind her until she noticed it (I was away from the table when the waitress delivered the dessert). At which point I took her hand, asked her to stand up, got down on my knee and popped the question in front of 25+ family members and close friends :laugh2:
Nice!! I also got engaged in Tampa! I proposed in a sports bar in the wyndam hotel by the airport ( we were visiting her friend who was a stewardess fir airtram.)
It was supposed to happen at midnight greeting 2006, but our friends all had to fly out very early, so I did it at 9:00pm. She was shocked, but very happy.

That's awesome bro! I've spent so much time in Tampa, it's like my second home  Lol, my fiancé was also very shocked (she could barely speak from all the emotion) when I proposed

Awesome. I had a picture of me taken with the ring, in box, open. Then I had "Will you marry me?" across the top via Kodak machine. :) Then I had it made into a slide. Then before the movie, they put the image on the screen for me. I proposed at the Hollywood 20 in Sarasota, FL, on the opening weekend of a VERY packed movie. The theater was full. It was cool.
Then we went to dinner to Carabba's on Cortez. We told them we had just gotten engaged. Someone (manager) went and bought us a dozen roses and the waiters/waitresses sang to us while bringing dessert to us. The bill was crossed out with "Congratulations, good luck" written on it. I had no cash, and had to have the waiter charge me $1.00 so I could leave a tip, lol.
Engagements are never forgotten. Congratulations again, E.

Man, wish I had thought of something creative like that...but hey, at least she loved it. That's all that really matters right? And yea, that's one night I'll never forget (or her)
