Hi, does anyone know of an application that I can get through the app store that will allow me to forward text messages that I receive. Preferably it would be great if I could forward to a group of people. I appreciate any help/advice that anyone can give. My phone is not jailbroken and I'm not all that technically geared to do that. Thank you!

As far as I know you can't do it without jailbreaking. If you do Jailbreak there are several apps that will do that. I haven't found an app that will do groups.

Thank you for the reply. As I expected, I would have to jailbreak the phone. Maybe Apple will just let someone put an app out there that will do what I and many others want.

Thank you again for your help!

If you jailbreak then you can use Bitesms and then just create a group and select to forward to all. The stock sms app allows you to create groups.

Thanks for the reply. Have you had any problems after jailbreaking your phone? I've heard that the phone slows down tremendously and that it also freezes up a lot. I'd rather wait for the app to be approved by Apple instead of having these problems. If you could please let me know your experiences after jailbreaking, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Well I do not run a "stock" phone. I have not had many problems with my JB phone. I have JB'd several phones and havent had any problems. It does lag some but not to bad only a few seconds. It is something that I will deal with to have the ability to customize and all the helpfull apps. I would suggest try it and see what you think.

I agree, I took my jailbroken iPhone to walmart and grabbed one of their demo models and did a side by side to see how much lag there was, everything was pretty much the same, maybe a half a second difference in most apps. The biggest difference was with the photos app, but I have almost a thousand photos synced to my iPhone, I don't know if the number of photos makes a difference or not.
