View Full Version : I too was an iPhone virgin until 2 weeks ago!

Hi. I'm new here. Just wanted to introduce myself. I lurked for a while before I got my iPhone then registered to post once I actually got it.

I work for AT&T and for the longest time they wouldn't allow employees to have an iPhone on the free employee plan, but now I am a manager and there is a special plan for managers that we got moved to if we wanted an iPhone... so I am happy!

I work in more or less the "complaint" department (for small business and FAN discount customers), so I get to handle customer complaints about iPhones... so for a while there I grew to dislike the iPhone but now that I can have one I covet it and treat it like its a newborn baby. I won't even let my girlfriend touch it unless she holds it with both hands and keeps away from food and liquids. lol

So while I do work for AT&T I am not at true liberty to officially answer questions and stuff about AT&T stuff, just wanted that disclaimer in there!

Welcome! Your job sounds tough. LOL at the 'no touch' policy - I used to have that same one, but fear for my life caused a relaxation of it after not too long :laugh2:

OMG another addict, what is this phone doing to us? Hey I have had AT&T for years and their service has been great especially phone service. It's a little spotty at the stores but overall good.

Actually I"m in the 'complaint' department for Small Biz and FAN discount customers in general or all sorts of issues.. and take complaints from the President of the company, the FCC, BBB, Attorney Generals, etc. so I don't receive calls.. I make the calls when I get a case assigned to me ;)

I think I'd kill myself if I had to be in a call center again! :angry:

yes it is quite the addiction isn't it? buying cases, reviewing and downloading apps, JB, using it more then 50% of the time during the day... its just like a tattoo.. lol
