I really enjoyed The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Definitely worth a viewing. It is extremely similar to Forrest Gump (same writers).

so far the inauguration has been tops on the list for me, very powerful and some day we will tell our kids and our grandchildren that we were alive to witness history. the economic crisis, for everything it is messing up, will make us a stronger and better nation when we emerge from it.

Button was the only movie I have seen in 2009, and it will be hard to beat...but lots of good competition out there. Gran Turino is tops on my list for Netflix when it comes out.

i saw notorious last week with some friends, fittingly snuck in two 40's each. it was a pretty decent movie, better than i expected but it won't win any academy awards. if any of you are/were fans of biggy and 2pac back then i think you would enjoy it.

Seriously. You must not have said what you wanted to say properly, because it sounds like you are saying Clint Eastwood is no good at acting now.

Clint Eastwood on his worst day > Ben Stiller at his best.

There's a Dragon Ball Z movie coming out? I can't say that I'll watch it. I thought that the show went off the air years ago. I could be wrong.

Did anyone see Zack and Miri Make a Porno? I'm considering renting it but I haven't heard many good reviews.

I just saw 500 Days of Summer the other night and that was a fantastic movie. I highly recommend it.

Saw The Final Destination last night. I hate all these 3-D movies. You can CLEARLY see how hard they're trying to get stuff to be 3-D. For instance, the piece of word happens to fly across the room and "into your face". The movie was also bad.

I agree. A lot of my friends went into it thinking it was going to be an all-out comedy and as a result were disappointed. It's why I hate expecting something from a movie prior to watching it.

I'm not a big fan of Iraqi war movies in general. But this one was good. Definitely worth seeing if you get the chance. I had to see it twice, it was that good. It's one i'm definitely picking up on blu ray. Was too bad the Italian blu ray is region locked :(

Just saw Moon tonight, great movie! It was the best movie of that genre that I have seen in a long time. Nothing has ever came as close to 2001 and 2010 as this has IMO. Most of them are just way too unbelievable and get the science wrong, like Sunshine. I give this one 9/10.

Moon still isn't playing anywhere near me. Bummer. What is Sunshine?
BTW, I finally saw Snatch. It was great!

Yeah, it's not a big release. One of the older theaters here was showing it, so I caught it last night before it's gone. It was only $5 and they even had well dressed theater attendants and a self playing (and singing) piano to add to the ambiance, lol. That theater is also the only one around here that's showing The Hurt Locker, which is next on my list. I really wanted to see Gamer, but that's not going anywhere soon, so it's on the back burner for now.

Sunshine is a 2007 movie set 50 years in the future about a team of astronauts trying to save the world by traveling to the sun to reignite it. If you know anything about the Sun, I don't recommend it ;)

Snatch, now there's a movie. "Oh, nothing, Tommy. It's tiptop. It's just I'm not sure about the color".

OMG, I just noticed my spammer quote translation from English to Chinese and then back to English made it's way into your sig. ;)
