I was viewing some new wallpaper in the Backgrounds application when I came across a beautiful theme that looked awesome. It's what inspired me to jailbreak my phone, but I can't find it. Does anyone know what this theme is called?

I could be wrong, but it looks like the Reveal theme to me, available on Cydia.

Okay, I've downloaded Reveal from Cydia, but what program do I use to activate it? I have WinterBoard on my phone and that's the only program I have like that. I can't find SummerBoard or any other types of programs that would be able to make this theme show up. I know I sound like a little bit of an idiot right now, but I can't find ANYTHING like I used to. I must not have enough sources installed. Please let me know which program you're using to activate this theme and which source to get it from. Thanks!

You should be able to open Winterboard and see a list of themes to choose from, including Reveal. Check Reveal and close Winterboard, and the phone will respring. When the phone is done with that, you should have Reveal installed and ready to go.

Reveal is not included on the list in Winterboard. :frown: That's what made me think it was the wrong program.

Sorry -- I goofed. Once you have Winterboard installed, you'll have a folder on the iPhone: /Library/Themes. The folder with the Reveal theme files goes in that Themes folder. That way, Winterboard will recognize it.

To access that folder, you'll have to use an SSH program to access the phone's file system. On Windows, I use WinSCP. On Mac, you can use Cyberduck. There are others, but those are the two I'm most familiar with. You'll need to install OpenSSH from Cydia, because you'll need to have SSH on in order to use either of the aforementioned programs.

BTW, I've used the Reveal theme on my iPhone before and it really is a beautiful theme.

Aw man! I hate WinSCP. Could iPhone Browser do this? When I plugged in my phone, iPhone Browser wasn't recognizing it, but I don't know if there's something I can do to make it recognize it, or if my computer was just acting shady. Or better yet, if I just use MobileFinder to create the folder, will that make everything else work?

Does iPhone Browser require SSH to be activated?

I'm not sure. I'll install OpenSSH and retry it when I get home. I get home around 5:45. I'll let you know then.

I'm not sure why you don't like WinSCP. That's the only SSH client I use now.

I think I remember something about it being un-user-friendly. ?????

iBrickr won't let me access all parts of the phone that I want which is WACK, but I guess I'm going to try to fool with WinSCP again. Anyway, back to what my original question was, that is the name of the theme that I wanted, so THANK YOU! One thing I hate though is how no matter what them I seem to download, the icons are never designed for all the icons I have, or atleast the main ones I just on the home screen. Oh well, I guess I'll fool around with it a little longer and end up finding a way to make my own themes again. Thanks for all your help.
