What gaming console(s) do you own?

Hey there,

I wanted to know what gaming console(s) you guys own. I am planning to buy one really soon, it's going to be either PS3 or Xbox 360 because I'm not really into the Wii, so I thought I should know which one is more popular, at least on EiC.

Lmao you reminded me of the good ol' super nintendo and the sega. Wow I loved both very much, especially the sega, even more than the first Playstation I ever got. And I got the PS like two days after it was released because my dad was in Japan at the time lol.

I would own all 3 if I had the money, and free time. I used to own a PS3 (very early on), but I returned it after 4 months b/c there really was NOTHING out for it. I traded it in for an XBox 360. I've had that for almost 2 years now.

I was the reigning king in that game among my friends in High School, and College Dorm days. I spent countless hours delivering pwnage to my friends.

I had a wii about a year and a half ago but sold it for 400$ and got a iPhone the best thing I ever did. The wii to is not a consoles that you can play for hours and hours. It's fun but it gets old fast.

True, I'm actually buying a game console to play it myself, and online. When my friends come over, we usually eat, drink beer, watch TV a little, and maybe play Winning Eleven 11 on PS2 (but not all the time), then go out. I don't really like playing console games against my friends because I get ticked off fast if one of them beats me hahaha. I am a very competitive person :p.

I really use my 360 the most. The Wii is fun to play Mario Kart with the wife and friends though. It's worth keeping.

PS3 is losing to both Xbox and Wii in sales. Its hard to include the Wii in a competition because its a totally different experience. I want one. But to say its better than either Xbox or PS3 is kinda silly. Wii is more "fun" with its silly games and whatnot. Xbox and PS3 are more hardcore. ANyway... Xbox wins in that department. Sorry PS3... They should get better games already!

I still have an N64 up at college with me and try to play Golden Eye as much as I can. In fact, when I first got my Wii and PS3 I still played GE much more than any of the other Wii or PS3 games.

never have and never will play video games. some of my friends are way into them and waste countless hours playing these games. they have tried to get me to play them and they just get boring after 5 min or so. i would much rather do research, read a book, work out, or do something else that is productive than play video games. just my 2 cents. among my friends however the xbox and wii seem to be the most popular, they are always playing that guitar game.

We have all 3 plus, ds's, PSP's,etc. You name it we have it, I have 3 boys + husband so what does that tell you.
My personal favorite is Wii, I love the Wii Fit.

That's what I love most about it. I'll admit I don't play my games as much alone as I did when I first got them, but I never was a huge gamer. I love how well the Wii works in a crowd, though. We pretty much don't buy games for the Wii unless it has a great multiplayer experience.

Although lately I have been putting lots of time perfecting my moves in Shaun White Road Trip.

What more can you do on a modded wii? I have herd of modding a 360 but not a wii.

Seriously, Fallout 3 is one of the best console games I have ever played.. You'll be playing it forever...MUCH better than Oblivion...Oblivion was too OPEN for me, and I never felt a sense of purpose with that game. Perhaps I was still coming off my WoW addiction, and Oblivion just didn't cut it...who knows.

You will be very happy with Fallout 3.

I kind of hate skating games tbh. Man, FPS is the best, but some FPS games are really hard to play on a console with a game pad you know, the mouse is the best.

Best skate game was TOny Hawk 2.

It all went downhill from there.

I did not like the demo for the first Skate, even though the control were kind of neat.

I gotta say, I'm loving Shaun White Snowboarding for Wii. The controls are great and it's juuuust hard enough to keep you motivated.

Graphics aren't too shabby for the Wii. I really like the blurring sense of speed it gives you. Plus, controlling it from the fit balance board is just too cool. :2cool:
