Come on guys, you can do all these cool hack and awesome extra features(with a lag), but no IChat? Plug in a iphone a "web" camera so we can have video calls/IMs? It would be cool....

If it seems so easy then why don't you do it?

To do all that you would have to plug in the camera physically, which would require buying some kind of connector that connects the usb plug to the 30 pin connector at the bottom of the iphone/ipod. I doubt anyone wants to carry an extra webcam with them just so they can have a video chat, and if they are at home why not just do it with the computer?

I never said it was easy, and i know its not as simple as saying it, but dont forget that there is a market for everything and it would be nice while traveling. I dont see the problem in making it? Your not forced to use it...

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have iChat on my iPhone too but I don't think there is a practical way to do it right now. I would much rather wait for Apple to put in a front facing camera.
