i just got the iphone today...i feel like a kid again lol

with my other phone i had bluetooth earpiece....plantronics
i had a setting for the ringer that i guess was used mainly for the car not sure really but, when someone calls it would say the number or if it was in my contacts it would say like Chris's cell 4 times and then ring so i would know who is calling without having to look at the phone

does the iphone have a setting like that, i could never purposely find it on my phone so to find it on a phone like this is rather difficult lol

I'm not sure what you are meaning. If you get a call from a number not in your contacts, it displays the number onscreen when the call comes in. If the number is contacts, it displays the person name and the number type (home, mobile, etc...).

If I understand you correctly then it does it automatically, there is nothing to set.

umm I mean as like the ringtone it would be a voice that would say the number or the name of the person calling this way I wouldn't have to even look at the phone to see who is calling
