today I have unlocked my iPhone 3g via yellowsn0w. I was in a rush to do this and have somehow I have snapped the bottom bit of my sim tray. The little plastic bit I presume is still inside my iPhone and Ive currently got a sim wedged into my iPhone but my sim tray is out!

How can I get the sim out?

Ouch. Restore your phone and take it to AT&T or the Apple store and get them to replace the Sim tray.

I believe it's more than that... I think the SIM card in actually stuck in the phone...

Time to invest in a really small set of tweezers.

Call Apple (UK Number) 0800-0391010 . BEFORE YOU DO THAT, undo all your Jail Break and the Yellow Snow, or they will not replace your phone - It will be on your record that they put with your iPhone serial number. Alternatively, you can buy a Sim Card Holder from eBay. Try turning your iPhone upside down and shaking it, or using needles? Try being creative! Best of luck.

I screwed my sim try the first day I got the iPhone, because I didn't know you could push it out by taking a paperclip for instance and pushing it in. I went and replaced it though.

Hello all... First time visitor!

I just got a new iPhone and in the process of putting in my own sim card, I gently (honest) inserted the sim tray backwards!

It seems to be hooked inside. It is STUCK... and I don't want to force it. Anyone have any bright ideas? Why don't they design these things so that half-blind klutzes like me can't do this sort of thing. "Idiot-proof" my arse! ;)

Thanks!!!

If you can't pull it out easily, I would take it to Apple or AT&T and get them to do it. You can try jiggling it back and forth a bit, or if you can see in the sim tray area, try and figure out whats hooked. Probably the SIM card itself

You would think that would do it... the card isn't in the tray actually. But it's definately stuck... Just dont want to bust it!

I'll take it in... Kinda makes you wonder why they wouldn't put a little knotch in the slot so it can only go in one way!

Any other ideas would be a appreciated!
