Sync photos onto my pc?

Hey, Ive had my Iphone3G for about 2 months and i recently reformatted my computer. The problem is that before my pc picked the iphone up as a camera device and it was so easy to get the photos onto my computer but now my computer doesn't do that. Syncing my songs and everything else is fine i can put stuff on it.. i just cant take it off.

and suggestions? :gasp:

What OS is you're using? When installing XP/Vista + iTunes 8 everything should be fine!? I'll also guess that you're using firmware 2.2?

When connecting the iPhone to the computer the drivers should recognize the device, and you should be able to pull off the pictures from the "Camera roll" without using iTunes.

I have Xp sp3... and yeah im using firmware 2.2 is there anyway i can downgrade to see if it works with a earlier version?

and i cant even pull the pics off with itunes... its like theyre stuck in my phone

Okay - have you just upgraded to XP SP3 or?

no.. ive had it the whole time... its just stopped working all of a sudden i dont knwo why

Sounds strange...!

Did you click on the "Do not take any action button" when the menu came? If so, Try the Control Panel. There is a way to "Downgrade" your firmware - Just restore. It will go back to the firmware you got when you first got your iPhone.

Yeah... Ive tried it all... Re installing windows, re installing iTunes, control panel... its keeps saying "Cannot install Hardware"
