Exzactly folks! This was a true disapponting discovery or maybe it's just human error on my part. Either way I can't get shazam to recognize radio head. Unfortunalty i'm a huge shazam fan and a huge Radiohead fan and I use shazam to help me find LPs of artist. This won't slow down my use of shazam, I just hope they can expand there librarry a Lil bit. LOL

How many Radiohead songs have you tried? I've used Shazam with VERY recent artists and songs and it has worked flawlessly nearly every time.

Yeah, that seems very odd - I've had it recognize obscure songs from much, much lesser known artists.

I wonder if that has anything to do with where / how Radiohead allows their music to be referenced. Weren't they the ones who tried selling an album onine-only, or asking only donations for it or something??? I wonder whether they have a different approach to use of their content ...

They offered their latest album to be purchased at whatever cost the buyer wanted to pay, basically. And yeah it was available as a download after you entered you amount.

Shazam found songs played at Barnes and Noble and you know their songs are random as sh**. Maybe it is on radiohead's end.

radiohead-high and dry-The Bends.................recognized by shazam
radiohead-creep-Pablo honey........................recognized by shazam
radiohead-optimistic-Kid A............................recognized by shazam

Worked great on three different songs on three different albums.

I have shazam & midomi both on my phone just in case one or the other doesn't recognize a song. At least, I have a backup.

I kept Midomi around for a while but Shazam was usually just so spot on with the songs that I eventually deleted Midomi.
