View Full Version : Restore after iPhone 2G 2.2 jailbreak & unlock

I just upgraded a friends iPhone 2G to 2.2, jailbroke & unlocked it.

He did a restore from a 1.1.4 backup and all of his previous photos, music, etc. were restored, but somehow he's still jailbroken, unlocked on 2.2.

How did this happen? Am I missing something.

He didn't restore 1.1.4. When you sync your iPhone, it backs up stuff like your contacts and some pictures. All he did was put those back on there. He should still be on 2.2.
