We LOVE Flickr and have pretty much given every Flickr app a serious try (btw, why hasn't Flickr itself released an app?) ... the one we settled on and use exclusively is Mobile Fotos ... why? ... some really unique features:

It was the first app to upload the image's EXIF information - love EXIF techie stuff, so this is huge!

Also upload GeoTagging

At the time, it was the first Flickr app to upload the full size of the image while other apps limited the dimensions of the picture uploads
and many more features ...

check out the app's description on AppShopper > http://appshopper.com/photography/mobile-fotos

Now Mobile Fotos has become even better with the latest update on 1/13:
> UI has been re-worked, its awesome
> Background uploading que
> Much faster download time, user can view images much quicker
> Multiple account support - love this as we have several flickr accounts
> Integrated Twitter service via built-in web browser, Tweetie, Twitterrific, Twittelator and Twittelator Pro
> and more ...

So if you love Flickr and are active of Twitter .... Mobile Fotos is certainly worth checking out and is 100% anti-KRAPPS Certified!

Well, the paste button has been there for a while. I suppose Mobile Photos puts the URL of the picture into the Twittelator "cache?" I asked the dev for Twittelator Pro if he could implement a clear cache thing and he kind of blew it off. :frown:

Hmmm - so this is a Twittelator thing? Ok - got it ... indeed, totally annoying and should indeed have clear cache functionality ... very confusing ... thank you

Yeah, me too. :) I wish the USA Today app supported Twittelator Pro though.

What's your idea between USA Today and Twittelator? I will be interviewing the folks who published the USA Today app so it would be interesting to present your information/request to them.

The USA Today App has a function to share an article through Twitter. However, ONLY Twitterific is supported. I just wish more Twitter apps were supported. Either that or just be able to share through a specific Twitter account through the web.

Understood ... yeah, only one Twitter app support is pretty weak, unless of course there is some "partnership" between the two - which I doubt ... Mobile Fotos is doing it right, there are like 5 supported Twitter apps. I'll ask the USA Today folks about this - thank you for the insight.

The photos are still not being uploaded at full resolution. My photos are only being upload at 1024 x 800. Is their something I have to do to have it upload at full res?

edit: looks like it does upload at full res but flickers largest size to view or download is 1024 x 768. Any way to view or download at 1600 x 1200? Do I have to go Pro to get the larger sizes?

Looks like you found the answer to your question ... Flickr limits non-Pro accounts to a maximum size of 1024x768 ... and YES, if you upgrade to a PRO account, you will be able to upload the original file size.

I'm also liking the redesigned mobile flickr. It's pretty fast. You can delete, download, edit photo info, etc. on it.
