transfer mp3 player to iphone help

Ok I got an older toshiba mp3 player and I'm trying to transfer the songs from there to my iphone I can't find anything on itunes to help me figure it out any help would greatly appreciated

iTunes isn't going to be helpful for this at all. You should probably just do a quick Google search with the name of your device and something along the lines of, "how to transfer music from ______ to computer." I know of a few programs that can do it from an iPod to a computer, but not a different mp3 player.

Here's what I did:

Before I got my first iPod, all my mp3's were in Windows Media Player. I downloaded iTunes and the imported my WM library into iTunes. Then, I ripped all my CD's (over 300) into iTunes. Then, I synched my new iPod with iTunes and voila...4,500 songs on my iPod.

Then I purchased and iPhone 3G, created a playlist in iTunes call iPhone and synched just over 2,000 songs from my library over to my iPhone.

Now, any songs I add to iTunes automatically sync to my iPod and if I want the same songs on my iPhone, I just drag them into my iPhone playlist.
