Ok I really want to do this so I can follow long distance routes through areas with no Internet service. Looking through the list of Cydia apps, I've found two possibilies "MapsOffline" and "OfflineMaps", although both look peculiarly difficult and confusing. All I want to do is make all U.S. maps fully accessible offline by storing them on my actual phone. I'm fine with it taking up 2GB or however much people say it would take up.
Has anyone done this? If you've used MapsOffline or OfflineMaps, how easy was it? Can you still do offline routing?
