Still have Springboard after restoring! Wtf?

I have a 3g 2.2 normal (stock). I had it jailbroken a month ago and i restored back to normal because it was way laggy. Today i bought the "free memory" app to take care of crashes and sstuff. Anyways, i open the app and i see that in te app it tells me that i still got "springboard". How is that possible and how do i trully delete it?

the springboard is the screen where all of your apps are showed. You do not get rid of this.

So springboard was made by apple? It was there before i jailbroke?

Yes, that was Apple's way of organizing the Apps/icons
