Need a fast response. About to restore.

So I'm about to restore for the first time due to problems I've been having since jailbreaking. My questions is, will my contacts resync after the restore or will they be lost?

EDIT: Also, what about my pictures?

There should be no problem as long as you've synced and backed up your iPhone with iTunes.

Thanks. I've heard that if you've backed up while jailbroken that there might would be a problem when you restore because there are "traces of jailbreaking" in the backup. Is this true? I plan on rejailbreaking again so would it matter?

A cool app is Chronus, which is available on Cydia. Chronus let's you back up all sorts of stuff, including contacts and photos. Then you can use Chronus to email these backups to yourself and put them back on the phone after you've restored.
