Like on many mobile OS platforms you can surpress native apps ( exp) stocks app or the native weather app, this frees up ram and can stop other apps from crashing or lagging? Is there a way for us to do this on the crashing iphones some of us have?

You can't remove stock apps - you can hide them with jailbroken iPhone.

Alrighty then, another row to add on the "stuff iphone can't do". Ohh well, hopefully that will be posible with the next update of firmware or hardware.

Don't get me wrong here! But if you have a list of "stuff iPhone can't do" - then iPhone isn't for you! All technical things are missing something - nobody is perfect, and the iPhone got an firmware that Apple don't want you (or me) to mess with..

Yeah, you got a point. I really am not anti iphone here or anything, im like this with every device or any kind. Its seems to me that im being fair. Anyways, yeah hopefully Apple will do something about letting us have more control.

You can 'kill' applications that you launch from the Springboard using 'Processes' via SBSettings. But you have to be on a jailbroken phone....

And then of course on a stock phone, holding down the Home Key will quit the current application.

But I know what you mean - there is a better weather app, camera app, SMS/E-mail app etc. Let's hope Apple will look and learn by these hot developers in AppStore!
