Confused, Can I upgrade unlocked/jailbroke 2.1 to 2.2

Thanks to this site, and the directions that were in the sticky note. I have an 2g unlocked, jailbroken phone running 2.1. Now I would like to upgrade to 2.2 but came across this message on this site.

So does this mean I can't do it if I am using Winxp? Can anyone point me in the right directions as to if it is ok to upgrade to 2.2. I will need the phone unlocked as I am with Tm.

There is no problem with upgrading an V1 iPhone -> 2.2 firmware, and then use QuickPwn for windows XP/Vista!?

Yes - but it's fair easy with QuickPwn! Just remember to get the Bootloader files here (http://www.enkrypted.com/bootloaders.rar)!
