Updating apps issue..

Searched and couldn't find a solution to this problem. Hoping someone can help me.

So every time there is a new update in the app store, I can't just update the app. When I try to, the icon of the app being update just hangs on "Installing" and the progress bar doesn't move. I have to manually delete the app and then re-install it for it to update.

Same thing with iTunes. It gives me an error when it tries to update any app until I uninstall it.

Is there a fix for this?

I have a Jailbroken 3G on 2.2.

It has to be something with your jailbreak. If you update the apps in iTunes without connecting the iPhone - do you get the same error?

No, apps get downloaded in iTunes without a problem. When it tries to transfer the updates to the iPhone it gives me the error.

Have you tried to restore + re-jailbreak?
