Air Cam compatible with 3G?

Does anyone knows if Air Cam is compatible with the iphone 3G. I have updated the phone to the last version and on the air cam website it says I need an iphone or ipod touch with version 2.1. Does anyone know if this will work with the latest version of the iphone.

Personally I'll give it a try!?...2.2 isn't that different from 2.1 ... but I can't promise you anything!
