Best Software to Transfer music from Iphone 3g to PC?

So my computer crashed and all my music is on my new iphone 3g (luckily). I was able to download my "purchased" music onto itunes on my new computer, but it looks like I have to purchase 3rd party software to transfer the rest of the music from my iphone onto my pc. I've seen some such as Tansee and others online, but wondering which is best?

Has anybody found a workaround (like the old "enable disk" on the old ipods) so that I don't have to buy yet something else to get my music back to my pc?
