Random stopping after songs, help

Hi

I have had a good look through the forums and although I have found a similar problem where songs stop during play, I can't find the problem I have.

I have a 8gb iphone 3g and pc running Vista.

When in ipod mode the player stops randomly at the end of songs, sometimes it plays just one, sometimes a couple, sometimes three or four. When i press forward to go to the next track it freezes.

I have tried re syncing tracks, have done the reset and have also restored the iphone yet the problem still persists. I am a keen runner and it is driving me bonkers having to stop every few minutes and fiddle with the phone.

I would really aprreciate some suggestions. Apologies if this is covered elsewhere here, I am new to th eforum.

Sounds like you have done all the right stuff. I believe it is time to take it to Apple.

in the mean time, though as a temp fix to your stoping and fiddling gripe; you could just just press the multi-purpose button on ur headphones once to continue play. P
