White or Black!?

-What size? - 8GB/16GB?
-Colour? - White/Black?

Haha, anyway. It all depends. I like the way the black looks better but the fingerprint smudges are much much more noticeable. But on the contract the white shows more dirt than the black. It's all in your personal preference.

Personally I like the black one (iPhone!) with 16GB on-board.

Black is for men and white is for women...just kidding!

The fingerprint smudges on the black one is a little problem, and you won't see these fingers on the white iPhone - 1-0 at the white's favour.

The model with 16GB have a lot of space - more than the most users need. But when you're going to transfer your music albums, a couple of movies, lots of pictures and all these nice applications found in the AppStore - the 16GB then make some sense! (1-1..)

But like I started this tread - it's a personally issue. The size of the disk depend of what you're going to use your iPhone as - remember...it's still a "phone"!

It's truly a matter of choice. All the above statements are true. You will want a 16 gb eventually if you get an 8 gb. On another note, if you ever put an Invisible Shield on your phone, you will want a black one. I have the white an it's okay, but the corners gather lint from pockets and that really shows on the white.

I was going to get the white just because it was different and I didnt see many of them around. But I will end up getting the black probably because I think the white will wear of on me after a while. Although I loved my old white ipods, wish they still had them in white.

As for gigs, really depends on the user but my theory is always get the biggest you can afford, its always nice to have extra, but always sucks to not have enough.

Personally that's why I am waiting for the 32gig 3g because my 16 is already full.

I was going to buy the white but they told me they only had white in 16gb so I got stuck with a black one 8gb but I love it except for yes those finger prints on the back...

16 gig white, it's oh so clean!!! My coworker got a black one the same time I did ("iWeekend") and side by side the white one looks way better to us. The white one looks cleaner and newer, and we're both men...straight men, and we both prefer the white one. To each his own, just get the one that looks best to you, but definitely get a 16 gig.

Why the whole phone isn't all white is beyond me. I think the white iPhone looks really ugly with only half of the iPhone being white. The black iPhone is a consistent colour from back to front so it has a better flow to it.

I have 16G White with mirror shield... looks awsome!! LOL

someone did mentioned that white one with invisible shield, is more visible than black one... (my friend got black one with invisible shield, and his invisible shield is less notice-able than mine white one).

Whenever my corner gathered lint and started to get noticed badly, I will just get invisible shield replacement.... (life time warranty!!)

Although, I like the fact that white one is only 16G and less people would have white... that sold me... yup, i got to be different... LOL (not really since now a days everybody has iPhone... oh, but most of them I know aren't JB like mine... :P)

however, if not going naked nor invisible shield or clear case... but wearing cases... I'd say, color doesn't really matter... since the case will be covered the color

Actually, with invisible shield on, it's hard to see the dirty oil fingers on white back plates.... however, on my mirror shield... that's bad... lol

Yes true i can see where your coming from when you say it has a better flow to it, i agree white is nice but i feel black looks a little more classy and its got a better flow to it

Black or white what ever satisfies you. Some will disagree but always get the one with the most GBs. I have never complained about having to much storage capacity but have been caught short and don't like it. Just my 2 cents.

The storage is what really matter, due to the reason the apps and media are increasing their capacity in the near future. So better buy the 16gb will be better

There is no hiding a iPhone....lol. It is just so cool it screams "hey look at me". Most iphones are visible screen up since most people are doing something with a app or on safari than talking on it....lol. I've had both a black and a white 3g and both were nice colorwise, the white was nice b/c it was different and very sleek looking, the black was awesome as well since the front is black too and it gives it a total flush look, but the finger prints on it was a menace. :2cool:, good thing Apple hasn't released more colors, trying to choose between the two colors now is bad enough...lol

White is cool, I think the initial round of cracks gave it a bad rep. My first 2 3g's were white, first one had a crack, second one had light leakage, so I downgraded (and pissed Apple off doing so) to a 8gb and the black was sleek since it was colormatched but it was fingerprint central compared to the white which was clean as a whistle.

My perfect one would be a 16GB and white (to match the color of my Mac Book) and since i bought mine used I was more looking price than anything so I ended up with 8GB and black....

At first i wanted the white 16gb and now i have it... and trust me i love it... but sometimes i wish i had a black... but 16gb all the way
