How do I know Jailbroken or not?

Hi everybody,
I have a ipod touch 2.1. Yesterday my friend took it and he installed games. He didn't tell me how to install games. And I wanted to know my ipod touch is jailbroken or not? So, I do I know ? Please Help Me.:smile:

is there any new applications on your springboard such as Installer? A blue icon?

Is Cydia or Installer on the home screen? If they are there you are jailbroken, if they aren't you most likely aren't jailbroken.

he probably just synced it with his computer, if all the music and stuff is gone....

It means "hacked" so you can add applications by yourself other than the Apple applications installed when you got it.

I just restored my Iphone 3G to factory setting but when I restart the phone it still shows that the apple symbol is is cracked.. ( the line that runs through it) any suggestions

um...that's the standard Apple icon on the phone.
