How is it done?

Press the power and home button at the same time
-The screen will then flash with the sound of a camera taking a picture:laugh2:

-My lockscreen is the original pre-release iPhone lockscreen with the clown fish around there eggs ya kno :)

Whats a springboard? I use to use one to get into a swimming pool. Could it be the same as a home screen?
