Any idea after JB with 2.2

Decided to JB the iPhone with the 2.2 upgrade but my problem is that when the phone is rebooting the apple or boot screen with hang and purple flashes and streaks show up. The only thing after that is to have idtunes reinstall the update. I have tried a fresh install a few times and the same thing has happened. I was wondering if the update may have been corrupted some how and is the cause. I was going to try and down grade to 2.1 since I know it was good and try to reJB again using the 2.1. What do you think.

does iTunes recognize the iPhone? If so do a restore. If it dosent search for DFU mode and try that.

So I found out by Apple that the issue was caused by a glitch in the update that was downloaded through apple and it was mesing with iTunes. So a new update of the 2.2 software is needed to be downloaded.
