Why different colors

Why is it when I pull up a page and scroll down before it has loaded all the way some pages are different colors? Is it bc of the background color? Most of the time it's gray and black but lately I have seen green and black, blue and black and purple and black.

I'm starting to see black instead of the checkered pattern. I haven't seen anything else, however.

O_O I always thought it was just there to entertain you until the page was done loading...

I have yet to see any colors other than the checkered gray and tan

This happens to me with certain sites, and has happened since the first iPhone came out. I dont know what makes it do that but i like it :)

EXACTLY! I really do think it's just like that to make you go, "what?"

Then again, I could be horribly wrong.
