Undocumented feature in Maps?

Before, if i was using the maps to navigate (set up to follow a route), the screen would go dark after the predetermined time that I had set for my iphone.

After the update, it will now stay lit, as long as the iphone is plugged in.

Anyone else notice this?

Nope i'll have to give it a try sounds nice though cause i hated driving and the screen would go black everytimes i went to check the directions again.
