i downloaded quickpwn for firmware 2.2 and did all the steps, but when it comes to the step where it asks me to press the home and the power button nothing happens.. can any one help me outt?? thanksss

You have to follow the steps exactly. Press the home for 5 seconds then the power and home together for 10 seconds then releas the power button and continue to hold home until your computer recognizes the phone and then quickpwn will start it's process.

If I remember correctly, it starts right away. But like Kenneth said, you have to do EXACTLY what the instructions tell you at the EXACT time it tells you. If you do that correctly, you should see it go to work.

You can use your computer's speakers to help you out, too. When you press the home and power button together for 10 seconds you'll here the USB disconnect sound, that's when you should then release the the power button and continue to hold the home button. When you hear the USB connect sound you can then release the home button.

i tried using the speaker thing.. and followed ur instructions.. and nothing is happeening.. any ideas.still stuck on that bloody window. thanks.

Getting into DFU mode is very hard, especially if you've never done it before. I've done it several times and can now get it in on the first try. It is possible - just keep trying and be sure to keep the buttons pressed hard.

if you are using a new macbook pro it doesn't work for some reason, just throwin that out there for you
