I am. I pretty much just started this week. I'm liking it 'ok' so far although still seems pointless to me.

Anyways, if you Tweet, Follow Me! http://twitter.com/CellJunkie

Peace.

What the hell is it?:laugh2: I have seen reference to it on our social page, but have no idea what it is.
Damn, I must be old.:tounge:

I just don't feel what I have to say is all that important, usually. Nor what other people are saying.

My wife uses it all the time, she has about 80+ followers. She tweets when she posts an entry to her blog or wants to let her Tweeple (yes, Tweeple) know about something she thinks they might find interesting.

Isn't it one of those apps that people use most often to tell their friends about every single little detail of their day that no one cares about? I.E. "I'm making toast" or "I just finished getting dressed"...

Hmm, anyone know about this:

Twitter collects personally identifiable information (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personally_identifiable_information) about its users and shares it with third parties. Twitter considers that information an asset, and reserves the right to sell it if the company changes hands. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twitter#cite_note-37)

Twitter is a stream-of-consciousness concept.

I'm on there, of course...

I don't "tweet" myself, but I do listen to a few sites... Like engadget, gizmodo, and, of course, EiC. It's handy to have all the main headlines in one spot.

When the server was down a couple months ago, it was posted on twitter, so that was handy.

Yeah, I get it now. Twitter is what you make of it. I don't tweet that much, but I follow tech sites, a few comedians, and some music folks. I hate how every internet social network always has a "flare up" fad phase then fizzle out, but such is life. I think "microblogging" like twitter will have a long life-span, in internet time at least.

So I tried this and the first word on it when I put my user name was: beer.
Just thought it was funny.
