Sorry if this question seems lame but I extremely new to iphone and downloading. This is a two part question. If I purchase software and do not like it, will I be able to remove it from the iphone. Also, after making the app purchase, does itunes store the app thus allowing me to install it on more than one device. Again, sorry for such questions but I am wiped out reading doc after doc. Thank you for your help.

Yes you have the option to remove the program after installing. Just hold down on one of the icons to make them wiggle (like you are moving icons around) and just click on the "X" in the corner to uninstall.

iTunes does store these applications when downloaded, so you can reinstall them on the phone, or any other phone or touch that is already authorized on your account. You can not however, share them with someone else to install on their phone. I have 2 phones and 1 touch authorized on my account and have no trouble installing the programs on all or any at a time.

The great thing is iTunes store these apps for later reinstall or for that matter restoring of your iPhone. When you delete an application on the iPhone, the deleted application will then be "unmarked" in iTunes applications list...but it wonīt remove it automatic - smart! You can then later on easily add these deleted apps through iTunes, and sync them right back to your iPhone.

Thank you for your assistance. My wife and I both purchased and iphone. I surly didn't want to purchase programs twice if at all possible.

You can easily share them. I simply uncheck the apps on each iPhone that that person does not want. Thus, I don't have cookbooks and the wife doesn't have network utilities -- but we both have Aurora Feint. :D
