I thought TDK came with a Digital Copy? That's what a recent commercial has said at least.

Yea, it does, but I think it only comes with the bluray version? Am I wrong? I hope I'm wrong!

Wait so I could put in a blu-ray movie in my iMac and it will still download the digital copy? or is this only for PC's with blu-ray players?

My "TheHappening" Blu ray came with two discs: the bluray with the normal high-def movie, and one DVD with the digital copy on it. No bluray player was needed to rip the digital copy.

Nope, it also comes with the regular DVD's. I just bought The Dark Knight (awesome movie BTW!) last night and it had a coupon inside with a code for the digital copy so you could copy it onto your computer.

Sweet!! I'm going to try my other blue rays to see if I could get digital copies. It'll be nice to have a nice movie selection for my iPhone.

I don't use my Mac to rip DVDs anymore. Dark Knight was ez on the pc. DVDFabHDDecrypter. Save as ISO. DVD Shrink to remove all the extra bs. Then save again as ISO. Then burn to disc with imgburn. :)

Yeah it's expensive, but it's teh hawt! :2cool:
And obviously, it comes with a digital copy. Warner Bros. is probably the best company at providing digital copies of movies on DVD.

Where is it failing for you? On "the happening" disc, there was an application that you run, and it would let you choose to import it to iTunes or windows media player.

while browsing the handbrake forums, i stumbled onto a solution for the Dark Knight.
http://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8248
file->open source (title specific)-> enter "title 1"
then it should rip it just fine.
