I wonder if you can listen to music through the bluetooth headset? I know it shows that if you have the wired headset listening to music and a call comes in, it will stop the music and allow you to take the call. Can the same be done with the bluetooth headset?

Music through the iPhone BT connection is not currently supported.

BT is for phone/voice only at this point :(

This adaptor will operate the itunes and phone feature on the iPhone perfectly. Once it is paired with the iPhone, attempt to make a phone call and it will ask you which one of the three (wireless headset, speakerphone, or iPhone) devices you wish to use for the phone. Simply select your wireless headset and you are set.

This works with the Motorola S9 headset::laugh2:

and the Oakley O'Rokr sunglasses::2cool:

Been using both for the past few days and they work perfectly! Great way to stay wireless even though there is the adaptor connceted to the bottom of the iPhone.

No you can listen through a bt earpiece. The only way to do it is to be on a call with the earpiece and then go to the iPod function and start a song or video and you will hear it through the earpiece. But hey who wants to listen to songs while you are talking to someone backwards enginerig if you ask me.

But what can you do I guess. My favorite moby album is early underground.

Does the icombi need to be charged, or does it get power from the iPhone? Also, does it fit snugly to the iPhone?

I ordered the Cerulean BT transmitter. It is BT 2.0 so the sound should be better than the oakley icombi transmitter.
I will be the guinea pig and let everyone know if it works.

Did you try the Cerulean BT transmitter? Does it work? Does it fit, well? Does the phone feature work, as well?

When I bought my iPhone the salesperson at AT&T told me I should get the S9 so I could listen to my music via BT. Of course I didnt buy it then because everythings cheaper on Ebay. Imagine my surprise when it didnt work! Bastard! Now you tell me after spending $80 on the headset I have to spend $50 more for an adapter?
Does anybody wanna buy an S9?

iCombi has no battery, uses iPhone power. Have not noticed a big difference in battery life. Fits as snug as any other 30 pin adaptor.

It works perfectly. I had my jawbone connected, and when a phone call came, it faded away the music and transferred the call to my jawbone BT headset.
The fit is very good as well.

The iCmobi is BT 2.0 as well. It is not an Oakley product, they just have found it to be the better BT transmitter on the market. What makes the Cerulean better? Looks like the iCombi has a smaller footprint as well.

Has anyone who uses the Apple BT headset figure out how to turn the audio up while turning the speakers down? I am glad to finally get mono audio through my headset but people will hear my audio through the speakers.

Are y'all talking about BT for both ears or just one?

I use a Plantronics 320 BT (one ear) and I can listen to music through it. Once the song is playing, I go to phone-voicemail-audio and select the BT device. I can hear it through the earpiece and also through the iPhone speaker. (Odd effect) There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the speaker using this method.

The music fades out when a call comes in. I have to go back to phone-voicemail-audio to select the BT device again once the call is over.
