Quake 3 Demo for iPhone

Via andydam, this is for real.

It plays great on my iPhone, but with no sound, and in need of improved controls. Still, this is quite an achievement.

This is just the demo pack file, which is a legally free download. More info here (http://code.google.com/p/quake3-iphone/).

Modified CFG file (http://sharebee.com/95915d30) for better controls (via scramble45): rename to q3config.cfg place in /private/var/mobile/library/quake/demoq3/

Basic Controls (can be edited in the cfg file):
Move: Accelerometer
Free Look: One finger tapping
Fire: Two finger tapping
Jump: Three finger tapping

Cydia has it.

Unless you're talking about the VIP xsellize source, no, Cydia does not have it. Cydia has quake1, but not quake3.

So, how would you install it?

Sorry, I thought most people would know how to manually install by now.

To install: put Quake3.app in /Applications and set permissions to 755 for the directory.

Haha nice my friend uploaded QUAKE 3 to our schools servers last year in a "secret" place and it was great:2cool:
