I have a mobile me account and my son wants a ipod touch for Christmas. I see that the touch has email and I was wondering if I can set him up with a me.com account to use with his touch. If yes, can it be part of my Mobile Me account (ie family account)?

You can set your son up with a MobileMe account, but I don't know of any way to do a family account type of setup.

I thought I remember seeing a family pack (or basically a 5 user license) for mobile me.

I think it was just a deal where you can get 5 accounts without spending $99 x 5 accounts.

I have a family account. It allows you up to five users. Everyone in my family has a separate email account, access to their own public folder, idisks, calendars, iweb, and contacts through mobile me. The primary user gets 20GB that can be split between mail and idisk space at their choosing and 200GB data transfer per month. All other family members get 5GB storage and 50GB data transfer per month. Cost is 149/year.

Look on ebay, I got a standard account for half price.

Amazon and eBay have excellent prices for MobileMe. Like the guy above me said, it's about half the price of buying it retail from Apple.

I also have a family pack account and can confirm what Ohmster said about the details.

Use google, do a search for Mobilme. You will get links to the various mobilme sites. I recently did this and DID find a site offering 5user @ $89.00. If I recall, a single user was $59. Hope this helps

I bought a family pack today on ebay for $77.77 including free shipping. I received an email shortly later with the activation code... and it works great. I have no idea if I will get the package in the mail... but I really don't care.
