SMS delay help

Hey I have been having an issue with my text messages. I have noticed this issue after upgrading to firmware 2.2. I am trying to text someone with an iphone on AT&T network so there should be almost no delay in delivery time. I will be using my phone then all the sudden 3-4 messages pop up at the same. I am not really having any service issues as far as signal or talking issues. I am really only seeing the SMS issue. Im not sure if this is one of the problems people are having since 2.2 or this is just a phone issue im having. Thanks for any help, Brandon.

this has been happening to me for the past few weeks. I was on the phone with att for 2 hours trying to pinpoint the issue

any luck? im restoring my iphone right now to see if it makes a difference.

a restore will do no good. It seems to be an issue with AT&T. I have not had it happen in a few days though compared to every text that went out
