Transfering Data

Ive just moved from a dell laptop to an imac G4 and i want to transfer some movies over and around 600 songs, whats the best way to do this?? usb stick? cable? or what? any ideas will be muchly appreciated

When I have to transfer large amounts of data like that I use my external HDD. If you don't have one then I guess the easiest way would be to use a flash drive USB.

It is definitely a good idea to use an external HDD, it made going from my dell to my iMac a breeze.

External USB hard drives are really cheap these days. 160 gigs is at a nice price point lately:
