Oy this is rather unfortunate. My brother-in-law just found out he is being downsized in January. At least it's after Christmas.

It's really sad to see things like this. I have so many friends who lost their jobs due to the recession and cannot find anything. They apply for job after job and never hear anything back. So many people chasing very few jobs.

Our sister company (CBS) announced quarterly losses of just over $14 billion. How can firms lose so much and carry on.

Very scary.

go to work for the state prison you will ALWAYS have a job. as the economy gets worse the crime rate goes up. Thats what i do for a living and im not worried about job security at all.
